The Asian Business Association of Whitehorse Inc. (ABAW) is pleased to offer a 50% discount on standard stall hire fees to eligible small food and beverage businesses based in the City of Manningham participating in the 2027 Manningham Chinese New Year Festival.

This initiative aims to support local small businesses, encourage community participation and provide opportunities to showcase their products to festival visitors.

To qualify for the discount, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Be a small business with an active Australian Business Number (ABN).
• Have a currently operating business premises registered and located within the City of Manningham.
• Operate primarily as a food or beverage business, such as a restaurant, café, takeaway outlet, bakery, dessert shop or beverage retailer.
• Apply to sell food or beverages directly to festival attendees.
• Provide satisfactory evidence of business registration, operating address and eligibility upon request.

Businesses operating outside the City of Manningham, wholesalers, distributors, non-food and non-beverage businesses, and businesses that do not meet the above criteria are not eligible for this offer.

Having a business owner who resides in Manningham does not qualify a business unless the business itself meets the location and registration requirements.

• The discount applies to 50% of the standard stall hire fee for the approved stall category.
• The discount applies to stall hire only and excludes additional charges such as electricity, equipment hire, permits, insurance and other applicable services.
• The discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers, sponsorship packages or discounts.
• The discount is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The discount is limited to one stall application per eligible business, unless otherwise approved in writing by ABAW.
• The offer is subject to stall availability and approval by ABAW.

Applicants must submit a completed stallholder application and provide accurate business information.

ABAW reserves the right to request supporting documentation, including ABN details, business registration, proof of operating address and relevant food business approvals.

Providing false, misleading or incomplete information may result in the discount being withdrawn or the stall application being rejected or cancelled.

All successful applicants must comply with the festival's general stallholder terms and conditions, operational guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.

Food and beverage stallholders must maintain all required food business registrations or notifications and submit an applicable Statement of Trade through Victoria's FoodTrader system. They must also meet relevant food safety, public health and insurance requirements.

All products proposed for sale must be approved by ABAW. Participation is limited to approved food and beverage products.

Submission of an application does not guarantee stall allocation or acceptance into the festival.

ABAW reserves the right to assess and approve applications based on eligibility, stall availability, product suitability, event requirements and the overall festival mix.

ABAW may decline an application or withdraw the discount where the eligibility requirements or these terms and conditions are not satisfied.

• The offer applies exclusively to the 2027 ABAW Manningham Chinese New Year Festival on 30 January 2027.
• Approved stallholders remain subject to the payment, cancellation and refund provisions of the festival's general stallholder terms and conditions.
• Any changes to an approved business, stallholder or product offering must receive prior approval from ABAW.
• ABAW may amend or withdraw this promotional offer before an application is accepted, subject to applicable law.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.

By applying for the Manningham Small Business 50% Stall Hire Discount, applicants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions, together with the general stallholder terms and conditions of the 2027 Manningham Chinese New Year Festival.

ABAW reserves the right to make the final determination of eligibility and stall allocation, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
